ART WORKS OF OLDEN GERMANY AND PATTERNS
10 WORKS OF ART THE NAZIS DEEMED ‘Degenerate’
Hitler’s takeover of Germany and its surrounding nations was
not merely a military or genocidal feat. He wanted to completely overhaul the
cultural fabric of Germania. That also applied to paintings. There was a
certain style of German art that he believed was superior, such as the work of
the “Old Masters” or realistic paintings of wholesome events.
In particular,
Hitler wanted to eradicate modern art. According to the Reich, modern art was
depraved and irrational. Dadaism, Impressionism, Cubism, Expressionism, and
Surrealism were all verboten, and these paintings were all hauled out of
museums. Hitler even declared, “The Dadaists, Cubists, and those futuristic expressive
ones and those objective chatterers will under no circumstances participate in
our cultural renaissance.”
In July 1937, over 650 works were exhibited in the Institute
of Archaeology in the Hofgarten in Munich. The pieces were displayed under the
title ofEntartete Kunst (“Degenerate Art”). Painted on the wall were captions, including ones that read, “Insolent mockery of the Divine
under Centrist rule,” “An insult to German womanhood,” and “Revelation of the
Jewish racial soul.”
On March 20,
1939, around 5,000 paintings, drawing, and sculptures were thrown into a
bonfire under the supervision of the Berlin Fire Department. More were
destroyed in Paris in July 1942.
Thankfully, many museum curators and ordinary
citizens saw the Reich’s savagery for what it was. Many works were smuggled out
of occupied countries or hidden in desolate farmhouses or caves. More.....Sunday, 26 June 2016
SILLAGE DE ART MAKES BRUSH COLOR WATER
A DREAM COME TRUE
Starting an art gallery was always a dream and with BRUSHCOLORWATER the dream came true. I see art as a window to connect to our minds. It is a perception that is not possible to describe in words. It is a feeling, it is a thought that only our inner creativity can express.
Art is limitless and that is the most amazing thing about it. It is free of every limitation and boundary. Its forms have widely evolved over time. But its beauty and elegance is timeless and it always kept mankind pleased in its bower.
BIRTH OF AN ARTWORK
Since I love travelling, in many journeys i came across artworks of diverse culture and region. My opinion about art too changed over time. Furthermore I met artists for whom art is not just about creating a master piece, its a way of life. It is a product of life experiences.
It comes from things that they saw, faced, learned, touched, things that broke them, things that supported them. Things that made them the person they are today. Therefore a piece of them is reflected in their arts.

“Artwork uses shapes, colors, thoughts to create a meaning. Sometimes the meaning is simple that is, it lacks conceptual complexity. Humans vary in the meanings that they are able to attribute to these forms. All depends on what humans know about them.”
“Art at the end is a personal expression. It is about what happens around the artist and affects him personally that ends up expressed.”

ART FOR ME
Paintings, for me, are a way to escape from this world. I used to sit down in my father’s gallery and stare at a painting for hours like a lifeless body.
Still now I sit in my art gallery and do the same.
Painting refreshes my mind, It feels like the world around has disappeared.I cannot define the pleasure it gives.
Artworks can please us in many ways. And regardless of age, gender, religion art finds a way to connect with everyone. That’s the beauty of it.
My father used to say “First of all creativity comes from ones ability to see.” He believed there is a difference between perceiving and seeing. One who can see the extraordinary in the ordinary is a real artist indeed.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion I believe creativity plays a massive role in making our lives rich and “Art is something that makes us more rounded and thoughtful humans.” I see online blogs where people argue about Arts. If modern artworks are real arts? Or does artworks take less effort these days?
I believe Artworks are subjective and it means something different to everyone.
Hence, we can never reach its edge.
